Like to fish? These floating cabins off Texas Gulf Coast offer summer getaway
Thanks to a Corpus Christi adventure service, fishing hobbyists can embark on one of the coolest summer trips in the Texas Gulf Coast — a stay in a floating fishing cabin with a large deck, room for six guests and full bathrooms. And with plenty of access to good fishing grounds, of course.
According to the San Antonio Express-News, Laguna Adventures offer these little floating vacation homes starting at $300 per night. They’re available to both seasoned fishermen and “people who have never fished before who stop at Walmart and buy a fishing rod,” the owner of Laguna Adventures, Justin Cooper, said in the article.
The four cabins aren’t exactly four-star resorts, but they’re perfect for a casual fishing trip and come with a covered porch and a 40-foot deck from which to reel in your big catch, as well as with a propane and charcoal grill, memory foam mattresses and pillows, cooking utensils and sinks with running water.
