Junior League’s foodie event returns for the fourth year

The Junior League of Austin has been around for more than 80 years, and although its best-known event, A Christmas Affair, takes place over the holidays, the organization has added an annual food event to the schedule.

Austin Entertains — named after the 2002 community cookbook — is now in its fourth year and will return Feb. 27 at the the Junior League’s Community Impact Center, 5330 Bluffstone Lane, to showcase the breadth of women entrepreneurs in Austin. More than 30 local restaurants and food businesses will be serving small bites and drinks. Tickets cost $85 for general admission and $150 for VIP, and all proceeds go to the Junior League's community efforts. More info and details at
