Jonathan Van Ness might be known as "the hair guy from Queer Eye," but he's in the midst of building a brand that's bigger than the popular Netflix show.

In addition to hosting two podcasts — "Getting Curious" and "Gay of Thrones" — Van Ness has a new book coming out later this year called "Over the Top." Last year, he started performing comedy at small venues in L.A. and NYC, and earlier this year, he launched his first national tour, "Road to Beijing," the name of which comes from his love of Olympic gymnastics and figure skating.

The hairstylist-turned-media darling, who recently came out as nonbinary, will perform at 8 p.m. on Dec. 5 at ACL Live, 310 W. Willie Nelson Blvd., and tickets ($45 to $125) will go on sale on Friday. You can find out more and buy tickets at jonathanvanness.com.
