Luby's first teamed up with H-E-B in 2016 to sell the restaurant's famed mac and cheese in the freezer section of the popular San Antonio-based grocery store.

In recent years, they've added the frozen fish squares, and this summer, another Luby's favorite is now available in the most popular grocery store in Austin: chicken tetrazzini.

The creamy spaghetti casserole, which has sauteed mushrooms, pimientos and chicken, is topped with American cheese, and it's available in the freezer section of more than 280 H-E-B stores in Texas.

Right now, the dish is only available in the family size ($7.50 for four servings), but the company says that individual portions of the tetrazzini, as well as the macaroni and cheese and broccoli rice casserole, will go on sale in July for $3.25 each.

“We’ve gone to great lengths to create dishes for H-E-B customers that are true to our brand slogan of ‘Tastes Like Texas. Feels Like Home’, joining the history and traditions of our nearly 75-year-old brand with that of Texas’ heritage grocery store,” Todd Coutee, COO of Luby’s Fuddruckers Restaurants, said in a release. “We’ve been thrilled with this partnership, which has surpassed all of our initial goals and expectations.”

Luby's has 81 restaurants nationally, and H-E-B has 400 stores in Texas and Mexico.
