Webshow starring Texas beef now streaming on Hulu

Everyone knows about the hours-long wait at Franklin’s and the scenic drive to Salt Lick. But what are the best barbecue joints in Texas that aren’t quite as front-and-center in the collective brisket consciousness?

“BBQuest,” a webshow by Beef Loving Texans now streaming onstreaming on Hulu, seeks to answer that very question. Host and native Texan Kelsey Pribilski brings viewers along on her hunt for the best under-the-radar BBQ joints and secret off-menu items across the state.

Beef Loving Texans is the consumer-facing brand of the Texas Beef Council, a non-profit organization funded by Texas farmers and ranchers through the national and Texas state Beef Checkoff program.

"Texans are known for their pride, and BBQuest truly tells the story of the culinary creativity that we are so proud of in our state. At the same time, it's incredibly humbling for us to have an opportunity to reach so many new folks through Hulu's vast audience,” says executive producer Rachel Chou. “Our hope is that those who stream the series on Hulu will be inspired to take a BBQuest of their own and enjoy all of the flavor Texas has to offer."

Season 1 includes episodes based in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth, with ATX pit stops at LeRoy and Lewis, Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ and Cooper’s Old Time Pit BBQ. The second season is currently in production.
