SXSW cancels SouthBites Trailer Park for 2019
You won't see one common South by Southwest sight this year. The annual food spot SouthBites Trailer Park has been cancelled, Eater Austin reports.
The SXSW team told Eater Austin the cancellation was due to many other food trucks' presence near the SouthBites location and that many more would come to Austin for the festival.
The food truck park, located at Driskill and Rainey streets, operated for six years. Last year's 40 vendors included Tamale Addiction, DFG Noodles and Lick Honest Ice Creams. The park for 2018 also included the Roasters Village, focused on coffee and tea.
