Austin’s top ranked restaurant from our 2018 Austin360 Dining Guide is rolling out the red carpet to welcome French Quarter restaurant Longway Tavern next week.

Longway chef John Sinclair and bar director Liam Deegan will join Emmer & Rye chef Kevin Fink and company Monday night for a collaborative dinner, complete with some of Longway’s favorite cocktails.

The a la carte menu will allow guests to build their own experiences, with dishes that include Carolina Gold Rice cracker with butternut squash, red snapper and avocado, baguette with cultured cream and kohlrabi, pork loin with king trumpet mushrooms, s’mores and more.

“This menu speaks to both Austin and New Orleans’ food cultures and incorporates my love for putting twists on nostalgic items,” Sinclair said. “The process of working with Kevin has already been so synergistic, and we can’t wait to get in the kitchen together.”

Reservations for the Monday night dinner can be made at emmerandrye.com or by calling 512-366-5530.
