Austin restaurants: Where to eat on New Year's Eve 2018
One of the biggest nights for special dining comes at the end of the year, as restaurants around the city roll out special tasting and prix fixe menus. Don’t wait to make reservations, as it is one of the busiest nights of the year and you don’t want to be stuck in the kitchen while everyone else is out drinking champagne and having a grand time.

Carpenters Hall. 400 Josephine St. 512-682-5300, carpenterhotel.com. The new boutique hotel hosts a party that pays tribute to classic hotels with a five-course menu featuring Beef Wellington and Baked Alaska. Cost is $85.
