The headline pretty much tells the story. Jason Stude, the chef de cuisine at Second Bar + Kitchen, isappearing on the competition show “Choped” tonight at 9 p.m. on the Food Network.

Second Bar + Kitchen will air the episode tonight,with Sutde offering the first challenge dish as a menu special starting tonight and running through the rest of the week. The first course? A broccoli soup with beer-braised short ribs and mint-fortune cookie gremolata. Let’s hope it’s not the only dish Stude got to make.
