Scoot Inn ‘Trailer Truck-off’ winner opens Thursday night

Doug Guller, owner of The Parish, the Scoot Inn and several other area entertainment properties, held the Trailer Truck-off in May. The winning cheftestant earned the right to operate the food trailer in the backyard of the Scoot Inn.

Recent Los Angeles transplant Tawny Villain took home the prize, with her pig-centric sandwich Pork on Pork Crime, featuring chipotle pulled pork, chopped bacon and grilled onions topped with a salad of arugula, grapes and apples and drizzled with a balsamic-apple-grape reduction. Villain will open Sweet Heat Meat Thursday night, operating from 8 p.m. to midnight” Menu items will include the winning sandwich, along with a griddled goat cheese sandwich, and cookies made with chipotle, chocolate chips and bacon.
