Executive pastry chef Laura Sawicki to leave Sway and La Condesa

After news broke yesterday that Rene Ortiz had left Sway and La Condesa, news comes today that executive pastry chef and fellow James Beard semi-finalist Laura Sawicki will leave the two restaurants in the near future. The owners of the two restaurants say through a representative that they wish Sawicki “nothing but the best.” We will let you know if and when we get word of the very talented Sawicki’s future plans and the two restaurants’ plans to replace her.
