Get ‘Moonstruck’ at Alamo Drafthouse’s Valentine’s Feast

Matthew Odam

The Alamo Drafthouse will host its annual Valentine’s Day feast with the touching and funny and dysfunctional love story “Moonstruck.” The event takes place on (dug) February 14 at 7 p.m. at Drafthouse Lakeline (14028 N US Highway 183).

In honor of the tumultuous Italian-American tale of love and shouting, Drafthouse chef Trish Eichelberger will prepare a four-course menu with wine pairings that includes Italian wedding soup, the egg in a hole with roasted red pepper that Loretta’s mother prepares in the film, the steak and pasta dish Loretta (Cher) prepares for Ronny (Nic Cage). The dessert course of champagne zabaglione is a nod to the sugar-cube-filled flutes of champagne in the movie.

Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased here.
