Blackbird and Henry bring in former GM from Michelin-starred Senza

Acclaimed chef Mark Schmidt, former owner of Café 909 in Marble Falls, is brining on Ryan Taylor to serve as general manager at Blackbird and Henry, Schmidt’s forthcoming Tavern at 3016 Guadalupe St.

Taylor arrives with a pedigree, having served as opening GM of Senza in Chicago, a restaurant that earned a Michelin star after its first year in business.

Blackbird and Henry is slated to open mid-February. The restaurant will serve dinner seven days a week from 5 p.m. to midnight, opening for lunch and brunch shortly after opening.
