Austin-based Zip Top reusable containers now at H-E-B just in time for Thanksgiving

Rebecca Finell launched Zip Top, silicone-based reusable containers that zip closed. Finell, who now lives in Austin, began her entrepreneurial career creating Boon baby line, and then Finell, a luxury homegoods and handbags line.

In January we profiled Austin mom Rebecca Finell and her reusable silicone zipped containers that stand up and stay open until you close them. They’re also dishwasher safe and can be reused again and again.

Now Zip Top can be found in H-E-B as well as the Container Store and Target and online at ziptop.com.

They are an investment, but save you on all those throw away bags. They come in both bags and cups, which have a flatter bottom. A sandwich bag is $12.99, a snack bag is $9.99, a two-bag set is $21.99, a three cup set is $34.99, and a set of eight bags/cups is $89.99.

Think about all those Thanksgiving leftovers you might have because you couldn’t find the small turkey for your immediate family this year.

Zip Tops come in a variety of sizes and colors.
