Get tips about talking to your kids about vaping, alcohol at town hall

Sometimes as parents you don’t know what to say about drinking or vaping. You just want to tell your kids not to do either, but is that really enough?

Travis County Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition is holding a town hall Tuesday to answer your questions about what to do and what to say as parents, as well as why your role is so important. The presenters also will go over the legal and social ramifications of drinking or vaping in people younger than 21. (In September, the use of tobacco products became illegal in Texas for people younger than 21.) They’ll also talk about the effects on the brain.
