Let it go, again: Alamo Drafthouse announces ’Frozen 2’ festivities
Come on, admit it: You’ve missed Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the whole “Frozen” crew. So it’s only fitting that the Alamo Drafthouse has announced a series of family friendly events to celebrate their return in “Frozen 2,” which ices across theaters nationwide Nov. 22. Here’s a sample of what the Drafthouse is offering in honor of the movie:
Snowman cookie decorating: Do you want to build a snowman? If you buy tickets at the Drafthouse for any “Frozen 2” showing, you can add a snowman cookie-decorating kit to your order — staff will bring a snowman sugar cookie and DIY frosting kit directly to your seat.
Family Party screenings: Don your favorite ice queen gown and head to the Drafthouse early for one of its Family Party screenings, which include a sleigh-load of activities, games and a themed photo booth.
Cereal Party screenings: Prefer cereal to carrots? Snag tickets to a Cereal Party screening, where you’ll have access to an all-you-can-eat cereal buffet, milk of your choice and a bowl and spoon. Pajamas are welcome (read: encouraged).
Alamo Drafthouse is also offering “Frozen 2”-themed menu items, including a Blue Magic frozen margarita and a Snow Queen shake. Get full details and buy tickets at drafthouse.com.
