Ah, grackles. The unofficial bird of Austin, wreaking havoc on our ears, cars and H-E-B parking lots, has embedded itself into local lore. Enough so that Austin grackles have earned their own review page on Yelp.

And it seems the Yelp-using public either reviles or reveres the scraggly birds -- Austin grackles earned three out of five stars. People used the opportunity to share stories, poems and frustrations dedicated to grackles.

Love them or hate them, you can't deny that Austin wouldn't be Austin without hordes of screaming grackles stealing our chips and salsa. Five stars from me.
