Crux Climbing Center will bring together novice and expert climbers to celebrate its 1st birthday at its second annual climbing competition, Come and Send It Fest Vol. 2. Crux’s biggest event of the year, Come And Send It Fest has attracted professional and local climbers alike to duke it out on May 6th for a share of the $8,000 cash purse and many prizes.

Competitors of all skill levels will compete throughout the day to win prizes in their categories. Elite climbers will advance to the evening finals where there will be a 3D light projection on the newly reconstructed Future Wall. Come and Send It Fest’s reputation and the $8,000 cash purse has attracted professional climbers such as 10 time National Bouldering Champion, Alex Puccio and Men’s 2017 National Bouldering Champion, Nathaniel Coleman to name a few.

“It’s always been a dream of ours to bring a high-level competition to Texas, and this will be the first year that Texas has seen this star power,” said Crux owner Kevin Goradia.

With a DJ spinning music all day long, other festivities will include live t-shirt screen-printing, face painting, photo booth, hydration stations from Vita Coco, a vendor village, and free beer starting at 5PM. The competition is free to spectate and ranges $37 - $60 to compete.

This year, Crux introduces its VIP ticket to Come and Send It Fest. This ticket gives you exclusive access to the mezzanine for optimal viewing, as well as free massages, alcohol, beer, and snacks.

“Still amazed that we’ve made it one year, and we’re going to celebrate the best way we know how (and we’ve heard we throw a good party),” said Goradia.
