Rodney Crowell, Joe Ely and more to play Guy Clark tribute at Paramount

The Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association will pay tribute to the late, great Texas songwriter Guy Clark and will honor author Tamara Saviano, whose biography of Clark was published last year, with an Americana all-star gathering on April 7 for its Darrell K. Royal Homecoming Show at the Paramount Theatre.

The lineup includes Rodney Crowell, Joe Ely, Bruce Robison, Lee Roy Parnell, Jack Ingram, Verlon Thompson, Terry Allen, Shawn Camp, the Trishas, Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay. Tickets, $45-$125, go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 20 at

The iHeartCountry Fest back at Erwin Center

The iHeartCountry Festival will return to the Erwin Center on May 6, with a lineup including Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts, Old Dominion, Jake Owen, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Kelsea Ballerini and the Raging Idiots.
