Baby Zach’s relaunches as Hummusph

Addie Broyles

The Austin hummus company Baby Zach’s is rebranding and has a new name.

Hummusphere Foods will continue to sell a number of kinds of hummus, which are all smoked over applewood and made with non-genetically modified ingredients. They cost about $4 for 10 ounces, and right now, the flavor lineup includes a traditional hummus, as well as roasted red pepper, Thai curry, black bean and spicy black bean.

Starting next month, customers will be able to buy hummus-based salad dressings in three varieties: Roasted Red Pepper Balsamic, Black Bean Ranch and Hummus Goddess. The high-protein, low-fat dressings will be available at retailers including H-E-B, Wheatsville Food Co-op and Whole Foods Markets.
