Austin-based sports bar and wing spot Pluckers is turning 20 this year, and the owners are celebrating with a free blowout bash at ACL Live timed to coincide with the University of Texas football kickoff on Sept. 5.

Pluckers is helmed by a trio of UT alums who opened their first shop in 1995. Co-owner Dave Paul considered it a “no-brainer” to incorporate the Longhorn mania into their anniversary celebration. They plan to turn ACL Live into a “massive Longhorns football watch party” on game day. After the game, indie rock faves Passion Pit and Bleachers will take the stage.

Members of the restaurant’s free Pluckers Club will be eligible for ticket giveaways, which will happen at their weekly events, on social media and at an ultimate lip-sync battle on Aug. 22 at their South Lamar location in Austin.

They’ll arrive in Austin on Sept. 29 for a two-night stand at Stubb’s. Tickets, which are $45 in advance, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
