Fit Folks: Jody Lander, 87
I have enjoyed an active physical life in my adulthood. My activities included golf, weight lifting and skiing. After retirement, I added more time in gardening and landscaping, but I began to slow down four years ago. However, last year I moved to Querencia at Barton Creek and began a different exercise regimen that includes aqua fitness in the pool. On alternate days I do weight machines as well as the stationary bike or treadmill. I also walk my dog a half mile to 1 mile several times a week. The result is I have more energy and feel great!
