SXSW 2018: Willow Smith to headline ‘Women Represent’ showcase
Willow Smith, the 17-year-old actress and singer who has evolved from adorable hair whipping ten-year-old to introspective, folkie millennial is down to headline the ICM X Cantu “Women Represent” official South by Southwest showcase presented by Austin-based dating service Bumble at the Belmont on March 15.
Smith heads an all-female lineup that includes Kendrick Lamar collaborator Rapsody, California rapper Kamaiyah and rising Atlanta star Kodie Shane. Cuban Doll, Izar, Kamillion, Kodie Shane, Molly Brazy, Re Lxuise, Savanna Re, Taliwhoah, Taya and Tayla Parx are also on the lineup alongside Kitty Cash and DJ Osh Kosh.
The show is an official showcase open to SXSW badge-holders only, but it’s worth noting, that Willow’s brother Jaden Smith, popped up on, then disappeared from a party lineup earlier this month.
And we’re not saying SXSW 2018 is running heavy on the nepotism, but if celebrity relatives is your thing, Noah Cyrus (Miley’s sister) will also be at the fest.
