If you want to take in some tunes from Austin City Limits artists without braving the crowds, the heat or the late nights, early morning broadcasts from local radio stations are a solid alternative.

ACL Radio 97.1 FM (formerly KGSR) announced the first round of artists for their broadcasts on Wednesday. Contemporary Christian artist Lauren Daigle and rapidly rising British artist Sam Fender, top a bill that also includes local rockers Black Pistol Fire, Flora Cash, Dylan LeBlanc and Alesia Lani. The station says more artists and a daily schedule are coming soon.

The broadcasts will take place Oct. 4-5 at Antone's nightclub on East Fifth Street. A $5 donation to the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) gets you in the door and the first 97 guests will receive a breakfast treat from Kerbey Lane Cafe.
