Black Pumas add second Stubb’s show after first one sells out

With a potent collection of modern rock ’n’ soul classics that dropped in June and a non-stop tour that has been shaking bodies and lifting spirits all around the world, Black Pumas is the hottest new act to come out of Austin in the last few years.

Last week, on the heels of a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, the band announced a hometown show at Stubb’s on May 8. Tickets went on sale last Friday and promptly sold out.

On Friday, the band added a second Stubb’s show on May 9. Tickets to that show are on sale now and, according to a message from the band, moving fast.
