Austin fans of 1970s rockers Mott the Hoople, mark Oct. 29 on your calendar. The Ian Hunter-led group, whose hits included the iconic "All the Young Dudes," will bring their "Mott the Hoople '74" tour to ACL Live on that date, part of an extended batch of tour stops after a U.S. run earlier this year earned widspread acclaim.

Ticket prices and on-sale date have not yet been announced, but a Spotify Fans First presale event begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30. The Austin show is part of an 11-date run that starts in the Northeast and finishes in Seattle.

Besides Hunter, band members involved in the tour are guitarist Ariel Bender, keyboardist Morgan Fisher, bassist Paul Page, drummer Steve Holley, multi-instrumentalist James Mastro, guitarist Park Bosch and keyboardist Dennis Dibrizzi. Trade publication Variety has referred to the tour as "2019's Great Rock Resurrection."
