Pioneering alt-country band Son Volt, Wild Child side-project Sir Woman and several other acts have been added to this fall's Utopia Fest, following the previous lineup announcement for the event Nov. 14-16 in Burnet.

Also added are Austin acts Whiskey Shivers, Zettajoule and Bobal, plus San Antonio singer-songwriter Garrett T. Capps. They join previously announced performers including Brownout, Jackie Venson, Fruition, Israel Nash, Erika Wennerstrom, Toubab Krewe and the Deer.

The festival moved to Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet last year after nine years in the small southwestern Hill Country town of Utopia. Friday-Saturday passes, $159, include camping (but not showers) and are available via the festival's website. The Thursday pre-party is an additional $35.
