Ready to extend its tenure as the longest-running music television series in history, "Austin City Limits" will begin its 45th season next month with tapings by Austin guitar star Gary Clark Jr. and fast-rising country singer-songwriter Kane Brown at ACL Live.

Brown will make his first appearance on the show March 3; Clark, who's appeared twice before, will return on March 5. Also announced today: An April 9 taping with eclectic New Orleans band the Revivalists, and a May 6 date with North Carolina jam band Rainbow Kitten Surprise.

Clark's taping will follow his first-ever appearance on Saturday Night Live, set for Feb. 16. His latest Warner Bros. album, "This Land," comes out Feb. 22.

Brown recently released "Experiment," his second album for RCA Nashville. The Revivalists' fourth album, "Take Good Care," came out in November; the band played the Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2017. Also at the festival that year was Rainbow Kitten Surprise, whose major-label debut "How To: Friend, Love, Freefall" came out last year on Elektra/Atlantic. Both bands are making their first appearance on the show.

Free tickets for each taping will be distributed via the show's website about a week before the date of each event.
