Whatever you did on your summer vacation, it’s not going to top what BJ Barham of the North Carolina band American Aquarium pulled off.
Lining up one of the most ambitious U.S. tour itineraries ever attempted by any musician in any genre, the alternative-country singer-songwriter scheduled 53 solo shows in 62 days from May 7 to July 7, playing at least one night in every state except Alaska and Hawaii.
But that wasn’t all. This family affair, which included his wife, Rachael, and their dog Bueller, found the Barhams visiting no less than 26 national parks along the way.
