The Bright Light Social Hour to open for Dave Matthews

• Austin rock band The Bright Light Social have been added to the Dave Matthews Band show tonight at the Austin360 Amphitheater.
• Timbaland invested in an Austin-based music production app: “The well-known artist and music producer — whose real name is Timothy Mosley — is the lead investor in a $500,000 investment in the company, whose app lets people easily create music using a standard PC.”
• New shows at Mohawk include Kurt Vile and the Violators (Aug. 20) and Ty Segall (Aug. 27).
