To the potential delight of loyal fans now in their late 20s and early 30s, and to the probable chagrin of their young children, the Backstreet Boys, perhaps a misnomer at this point, begin a North American tour Aug. 2, including a stop at the Cedar Park Center, Sunday, Sept. 1
The tour will follow the release of their new album, “In A New World,” July 30. Promising to be “bursting with big hooks, unforgettable melodies and high-energy rhythms,” the new material will likely fit in just fine with the fivesome’s greatest hits from their heyday.
The first single, “In A World Like This,” is available starting today. Tickets for the Cedar Park Center concert are on sale this Saturday, June 29 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com, ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster oulets, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Cedar Park Center box office.
Also on sale this weekend: Get your tickets to the pyschedelic synth-pop/electronic duo Empire of the Sun at ACL Live on Aug. 1 Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m.
