ACL Fest set: 7 p.m., Bud Light

In just over 50 words: An unbuttoned Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) fronts this trio, belting Midwestern bar rock in a grumbly baritone while old indie rock homies Brian Moen (Peter Wolf Crier) and Phil Cook (Megafaun) throw down guitar licks, bluesy organ strains and drums. Nothing earth-shattering, but a solid sunset soundtrack best chased with beer.

And another thing: The trio played one show together as The Shouting Matches seven years ago before wandering off on their separate paths spreading indie rock goodness to college campuses and hipster haunts around the world. They reunited this past year to record the album “Grownass Men.”
