ACL set: 6 p.m. Sun, Zilker tent

In 50 words or so: A genius, only-in-America mashup of an Indian party band and a New Orleans brass outfit with healthy doses of hip-hop rhyme and go-go rhythm thrown in for good measure. Their roof-raising SXSW 2013 set included call-and-response singing (in Punjabi), a Bhangra dance lesson and sprawling jams full of more funky sweaty madness than should be humanly possible.

Could share a bill with: Grupo Fantasma, Coolbone, Antibalas, Gogol Bordello

They get around: In 2012 the band performed at both TED2012 in Long Beach, Ca and the The White House where, the band’s web site claims, the audience was expecting a string quartet.
