Critic Michael Point passes away, friend reports

Just posted by his good friend Louis Meyers on Facebook:

“I just received word that longtime music and baseball journalist Michael Point passed away in a Houston hospice early this morning from liver cancer. Michael was diagnosed just a couple weeks ago. That’s all I know at this time. He will be missed.”
