Tal National at the Sahara Lounge. That this 12-piece Nigerian band is playing in a club as intimate as the former T.C.’s Lounge is pretty special. But this is also a homecoming of sorts, as Sahara co-owner Ibrahim Aminou grew up in Niger playing with many of the Tal guys. Aminou’s house band Zoumountchi closes the show at 11:30 p.m. Tal National goes from 9 p.m. to 11. $12 in advance. www.saharalounge.com.
