There’s many ways one could describe flamboyant folk band He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, but all that really needs to be said is this: They have a tap-dancing drummer. The Los Angeles band wears many hats (both musical and sartorial), mining eccentric, jangly appeal from songs like “How’m I Gonna Get Back Home” and “The Same Old Ground.” What better venue for their kooky eclecticism than a show in Austin on Halloween night? He’s My Brother She’s My Sister plays The Parish on Oct. 31 with opening acts Caught A Ghost and Song Preservation Society. Heads up: The band’s reps say they are planning some special surprises in honor of the holiday.

If you’d like to be our guest at the show, email us the answer to this He’s My Brother She’s My Sister trivia question before 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28:

Which band members are actually brother and sister?

One winner will be selected at random from the correct responses we receive. The winner will receive a pair of guest list spots to the show at The Parish on Thursday, Oct. 31. The winner will be notified by email by Tuesday, Oct. 29 at noon. Non-winning participants will not be notified.
