You gain one and you lose one. Ah, the life of artist management. Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison have parted ways with longtime manager Mike Crowley, but that just means Crowley will have more time to spend with new client Bob Schneider.
“Our relationship is still good,” Crowley said of Bruce and Kelly, whose “Cheater’s Game” was nominated for album of the year by the Americana Music Awards (they lost to Emmylou and Rodney).
Crowley Artist Management, which offices off Medical Parkway, also represents Hayes Carll, who is busy writing songs for his next album. Schneider was previously managed by Bruce Kalmick.
