Promoters of the Austin Jazz Festival have canceled the event which was to happen Saturday Oct. 19 because of heavy rains and the potential risk of new flooding at the Backard venue in Bee Cave. Former Earth, Wind & Fire sax player Ronnie Laws was scheduled to headline.
Refunds will be coming through ticketing vendor Extreme Tickets, said organizer Donell Creech of griotmedia.
