Country music legend and longtime Austin fave Lucinda Williams will be in town on Tuesday, January 14 to celebrate the re-issue of her self-titled debut album Lucinda with an in-store performance at Waterloo Records. The album was originally released 25-years ago and has been out of print for a decade. The reissue includes a companion disc of an unreleased recording from a 1989 concert in Eindhoven, Netherlands, previously unpublished photos and new liner notes.

The in-store is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14 at 5 p.m. with refreshments (read, free beer) provided by Shiner.

Lucinda Williams will also perform as part of Alejandro Escovedo’s United Sounds of Austin show at ACL Live on Saturday, Jan. 11. The show is billed as a guided tour of Austin music history curated and narrated by Escovedo. Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, Terry Allen, Rosie Flores and Roky Erickson will also perform on the bill. Tickets for that show are $25-$35 and available online.

Other January in-stores at Waterloo include Denver indie-pop band Tennis on January 15 and Austin country lifer Ray Benson on Tuesday, January 21 at 5 p.m.
