***THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR PLAYING!***
California-born folk singer Cass McCombs’ wandering spirit doesn’t let him stay in one place for long — the performer has traveled widely, and recorded tracks in studios all over the country over the course of his decade-long career.
Though his poetic music tends toward alt-country and Americana, McCombs has experimented with a number of different genres on the seven full-length albums he’s recorded, starting with 2003’s “A.” McCombs’ tour brings him through Austin on Friday, Nov. 22 for a show at the Belmont, where he’ll be playing older songs as well as tunes from his most recent album, “Big Wheel and Others.”
If you’d like to be our guest at the show, a href="email us"email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) the answer to this Cass McCombs trivia question before 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22:
What has Cass McCombs said he’d like written on his tombstone?
We will select one winner at random from the correct responses we recieve. The winner will be notified by email, and will recieve a pair of guest list spots to the show at the Belmont on Friday evening. Non-winning participants will not be notified.
