UPDATE: 9:21 p.m. The sign taped to the door of the Infest is no longer there, but the sign on the marquee is advertising event rental space. The Waka Flocka Flame show scheduled for tonight has been moved across the street to Republic Live.

NOTE: We’ve been told the marquee was changed to advertise rental space shortly after ACL Fest. Venue management has not responded to requests for comment.

The Infest, the DIY punk club that opened in the West Fifth Street space abandoned by Antone’s less than a year ago might be shut down.

A sign was posted on the club’s door today with the following message:

Lockout Notice: According to the lease applicable to this building, the landlord has taken possession of this space.

The club’s Website is still up and running, and tickets for tonight’s Waka Flocka Flame show with prices ranging from $30-$1000 are still available.

We’ve reached out to the club’s owners for comment and will update when more information is available.
