The Faint, a big part of Omaha’s Saddle Creek scene in the late nineties and early-to-mid 2000s, went on a lengthy hiatus after releasing their fifth full-length album, “Fasciinatiion,” in 2008. After reforming and recording “Doom Abuse” with Mike Mogis — due out April 8 via SQE Music — the group will go on tour this spring, swinging through Austin on May 2. Tickets to see the electro-punk act at the Belmont go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m.
