After a lengthy hiatus — during which frontman Trent Reznor spent time collaborating with director David Fincher and working on projects like How to Destroy Angels — industrial group Nine Inch Nails returned with their generally well-received eighth studio album, “Hesitation Marks,” in August of last year. The band recently announced that it would be joining forces with fellow nineties rockers Soundgarden to embark on a North American tour this summer. A stop in Austin has been scheduled at the Austin360 Amphitheater on Aug. 14, and tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
