Austin Hip Hop Cares benefit at Flamingo Cantina. With a roster that mixes up-and-coming talent with old faves, the ATX hip-hop scene pulls together to help victims of the SXSW 2014 crash. LNS Crew is an obvious standout on the lineup. With monster talent Kydd Jones rapping alongside emcees Cory Kendrix (whose latest mixtape “Ignorance” just dropped this week), Tank Washington and Deezie Fresh, the crew’s catalog is thick with heavily blunted crowd movers. Longtime scene stalwarts Crew 54, a pair of rappers from Killeen with a throwback sound and some of the smartest rhymes in the game, are also a sure bet. Keith Corona, Sertified, Die Slo, Stat 1 and G Clef are also scheduled to rhyme, and DJs Charlie, Jeska and Richard Henry are on the ones and twos. $5 cover benefits SXSWCares. 10 p.m. 515 E. Sixth St. —D.S.S.
