Pachanga Latino Music Festival, scheduled to go down in Fiesta Gardens on Saturday, May 10 announced the addition of Puerto Rican garage rockers AJ Davila Y Terror Amor and local instrumental funk powerhouse Brownout performing as the Black Sabbath tribute act Brown Sabbath to this year’s lineup today.

We caught up with Brown Sabbath a few weeks ago when the band played to packed house at the Mohawk.

“We’re all pushing 40 and we’re living out our high school fantasies,” guitarist Quesada said following the band’s guitar screaming, head banging, teeth rattling barrage of weirdly funky heavy metal. Brownout has a Brown Sabbath single coming out in late May and a full length album scheduled to drop on Ubiquity Records in mid-June.

Previously announced Pachanga Fest 2014 performers include Julieta Venegas, El Gran Silencio, La Santa Cecilia, DMK, Gaby Moreno, La Vida Bohème, Sonido San Francisco, Niña Dioz, Del Castillo, Chicha Libre, and Making Movies. Advance tickets for Pachanga Fest are $33 or $99 for a family four-pack. Children 12 & under are free. More information.
