Full Moon Full Life Benefit at the Backyard. Subtitled “Celebrating the Influence of Waylon Jennings and Hank Cochran,” this show raises money for the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, a charity fighting pancreatic cancer named after Jennings’ longtime business associate, who died of the disease last year. It also claimed songwriter Cochran’s life in 2010, which is why his music is included as part of the tribute. Country singer Jamey Johnson’s last album was a tribute to Cochran, which made him a natural co-headliner along with Waylon’s wife and son, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings. Also on the bill are Lukas and Paula Nelson, Ray Benson, Waylon Payne and Cody Canada. The event begins with a live auction. $35. 7 p.m. 13801 Bee Cave Parkway. — P.B.
