Wilco leader Jeff Tweedy will play a solo show at the Texas Union Ballroom June 21 as part of the Cactus Cafe’s 35th anniversary celebration.

The Cactus, a small venue on the ground floor of the University of Texas Union Building, occasionally books shows with bigger draws in the larger upstairs ballroom. Capacity for the Tweedy show will be 700, with general admission seating. Tickets are $85.

The show is one of 16 solo dates Tweedy is playing nationally in June and July. The announcement from KUT, which programs Cactus events, notes that the Texas Union Ballroom “is the smallest venue on Tweedy’s summer tour.”
