Here’s how you can see Beyoncé and Jay Z’s summer tour

There’s some coups even the Live Music Capital of the World can’t score. Beyoncé and Jay Z will not be stopping in Austin during their “On the Run” tour this summer, according to a list of dates posted on Beyoncé’s website.

However, take heart: The Carters have lined up two (count ‘em, two!) engagements in Texas. Should an Austinite hope to see a live version of “Drunk In Love” with all its component parts, the best bet will be just a couple hours away on July 18 at Houston’s Minute Maid Park. (B.K. and her Destiny’s Child cohorts hail from Houston, should you wish to speculate at all. If anything, it’s worth noting that hometowns always treat their heroes right.) After a July 20 stop in New Orleans, the ‘03 Bonnie & Clyde will return to the Lone Star State for a date at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium on July 22.

According to Ticketmaster, tickets go on sale May 2, but the presale starts at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Details are available at Beyoncé’s website.
