Gary Nicholson and friends at C-Boy’s Heart & Soul. “And friends” could be a pretty significant tag to this sneaky booking, given that Nicholson has written songs for some of country’s biggest stars as well as a few rock greats (including Ringo Starr). A potential clue to the guests is that Nicholson also is booked for a Wednesday happy-hour gig at the Saxon Pub with Johnny Russell and Lee Roy Parnell. But no matter who else shows up at C-Boy’s, hearing Nicholson do his own songs is enough of a draw in and of itself. $7. 10 p.m. 2008 S. Congress Ave. continentalclub.com. — P.B.
