Summerland Tour at ACL Live. Break out the (short sleeved) flannel shirts and ripped jeans and get ready to party like it’s 1995. Helmed, as always, by “Wonderful” Portland band Everclear, this year’s installment of the ‘90s nostalgia tour includes appearances from Minneapolis alt-rockers Soul Asylum and California pop punk trio Eve 6. $29-$49. 8 p.m. 310 Willie Nelson Blvd. acl-live.com.
Blues on the Green at Zilker Park. Because we live in Austin and have unfettered access to this week’s headliners Grupo Fantasma, it’s easy to take the world class cumbia funk band for granted. This is a huge mistake. Packing a wall of brass and irresistible hip-switching grooves for days, the band is a veritable national treasure. This free performance at the popular KGSR concert series is set to be one of the great sweaty dance parties of the summer. Local duo the Greyhounds open. 8 p.m. 2100 Barton Springs Road.
